Monsieur Blais nous parle de la valeur de l’art, du travail de l’artiste et fait la lumière sur un mythe encore très présent de nos jours.

La Galerie Simon Blais a ouvert ses portes en 1989 avec, pour spécialité, les œuvres sur papier et les estampes abstraites contemporaines.

Aujourd’hui, nous représentons aussi bien des artistes émergents que des artistes établis qui s’expriment dans des techniques variées telles que la peinture, le dessin, la sculpture, l’estampe et la photographie.

La peinture et la sculpture historiques canadiennes (de 1945 à aujourd’hui) sont aussi une de nos spécialités, et les grands artistes du Québec et du Canada tels Riopelle, Ferron, Letendre, McEwen et Molinari sont régulièrement exposés sur nos murs.

Lieu de diffusion dynamique, la Galerie se fait connaître à l’échelle nationale et mondiale en participant à différentes foires internationales en art contemporain.
